“The Lord has established His throne in heaven, and His kingdom rules over all.” – Psalm 103:19 (NIV)
Life often presents situations that seem beyond our control. We may face unexpected disappointments, unanswered prayers, financial struggles, health challenges, or uncertain futures. In those moments, fear whispers that everything is falling apart. Yet God’s Word reminds us that while circumstances may seem chaotic, Jesus remains in complete control, and we should take rest in His arms.
Throughout the Gospels, Jesus demonstrated His authority over every situation. He calmed raging storms with a single command (Mark 4:39), healed the sick, raised the dead, and even conquered death through His resurrection. Nothing ever caught Him by surprise, and nothing was too difficult for Him.
When we surrender control to Christ, we exchange anxiety for peace. Trusting Jesus does not mean we will never experience difficulties; it means we know who is leading us through them. God’s plans are always higher than ours, and His timing is always perfect. Even when we cannot see His hand, we can trust His heart because He loves us.
Today, I ask you to release every burden, unanswered question, and fear into His hands. The One who holds the world together is more than able to hold your life together. Jesus is not worried, confused, or overwhelmed, and because He is in control, you can walk in faith instead of fear.
So, whichever area of your life you are struggling to surrender to Jesus, give it to Him today so He can carry you through. When Jesus is in control, fear loses its grip, because faith knows that God is always at work. Trust Him!
Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for reminding me that You are sovereign over every detail of my life. Forgive me for trying to carry burdens that belong to You. Help me to trust Your wisdom, Your timing, and Your perfect plan. When fear rises, remind me that Jesus is in control. Strengthen my faith to follow You with confidence, knowing that You are working all things together for my good and for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
